Mark Regan
English Rugby Union International, Mark Regan, enjoyed a long and successful career playing for his country. Following his debut in 1991, Regan played international rugby for more than 16 years. Domestically, he played for Bath, Bristol and Leeds Tykes. Internationally, his biggest achievements included playing for the British Lions during its tour of South Africa in 1997 and later as part of the England World Cup winning squad of 2003.
Mark won 47 caps for England in total and captained the Barbarians on numerous. Mark was persuaded out of retirement to head the front row of the 2007 England World Cup Squad, where he played a crucial role in the team getting to the final in successive tournaments.
During his illustrious career, Mark has won everything the sport of rugby can offer, from the Heineken Cup, to the Six Nations, to the World Cup!

Brian Moore
With 64 England caps from 1987-1995 and five Test appearances for the British Lions, Moore is one of the world’s most capped hookers. On his first our with the British Lions to Australia in 1989 he played in all three Tests and in New Zealand in 1993 he played in the last two Tests after Kenny Milne had been chosen as hooker for the first match of the series.
Known world-wide as “Pitbull” Brian was always an aggressive character and a fierce competitor and was an inspirational leader of the England pack.
He played for Nottingham, where he was at University until 1990 when his work as a lawyer with a financial house took him to London where he joined Harlequins until his retirement from the game.
Since then Brian has remained an outspoken personality with strong views about the modern game. He also commentates regularly on television and radio, and writes articles for newspapers and magazines.
Brian has also been part of the BBC 6 Nations commentary team for the past five years as well as having a regular sports column in the Daily Telegraph.
He is without doubt one of the best rugby speakers on the after dinner speaking circuit. In January 2010 he brought out his admirably frank memoirs “Beware of the Dog”

Andy Farrell
Andy Farrell is one of the best known names in both codes of Rugby in recent years. Born in Wigan in 1974, Andy went on to play Rugby League for his home town club for for 13 years. He made his debut in 1991 at the age of 17 and became the youngest ever player to win the Challenge Cup that same year. His performances impressed that much that he became a full international at the age of 18 and would go on to play 34 times for Great Britain and a further 11 times for England.
He was made captain of Wigan at the age of 21 and during his time at the club, won five league championships and five challenge cups. He also captained the team to its first Super League victory in 1998. He is only the second player in Wigan Rugby League history to score more than 3,000 points in all competitions and holds the record for the most points scored in a single season, scoring 429 in 2001.
In 2004, Andy left Wigan and switched codes from Rugby League to Rugby Union, signing for Saracens, however, injuries and a car crash delayed him making his debut for the Hertforshire side until 2006. His performances for Saracens earned him an England call up and he made his debut at Twickenham against Scotland in the 2007 Six Nations clash. He was named in the squad for the 2007 Rugby World Cup later that year and in total won eight caps before retiring from the game in 2009.

Kyran Bracken
Although born in Dublin in 1971, Kryan Bracken is best known for his illustrious career as England scrum half, winning 53 caps between 1993 and 2003; the proudest moment of which came when winning the World Cup in 2003.
After moving to Liverpool at the age of four, Kyran went through education up to degreee level, where he qualified as a solicitor but always had an eye for sport playing both rugby and football from an early age, on one occasion having trials for Liverpool Football Club and Rugby League for St Helens. However, it was during his time in Bristol that he firmly established himself as a taltented Rugby union player and signed to play for Bristol having previosuly played for Waterloo close to his family home in Liverpool.
He made his international debut against the All Blacks in 2003 and when the game turned professional, moved to Saracens in 1996 where he stayed until retiring from the game in 2006. A hugely popular character and well respected in the game, Kryan also represented the British Lions on their tour of South Africa in 1997.
Since finishing playing rugby, Kyran propelled himself in to the mainstream showbiz spotlight winning Dancing On Ice and later winning the “champions of champions” show.

Dwayne Peel
Born in Carmarthen in 1981, Dwayne Peel has gone on to become the most capped Scrum Half in Welsh Rugby, winning 76 caps since making his debut for his country in 2001.
The stand out achievement in Peel’s career is the Six Nations Grand Slam win in 2005, during which he earned two Man-of-the-Match awards. This achievement was closely followed by Dwayne’s selection for the 2005 British and Irish Lions squad which toured New Zealand, in which Peel played in all three tests against the All Blacks.
Domestically, Dwayne played for Llanelli RFC, who became the Llanelli Scarlets in 2003 between 2000 and 2008 before he moved to play for Sale Sharks in the English Premiership.

Jeff Probyn
Jeff Probyn is one of the best Rugby after dinner speaker’s currently on the circuit. His playing record is second to none and his involvement in the Rugby world since his retirement is considerable and makes him the perfect guest at a wide range of events and functions. As well as being a member of the main R.F.U. committee, Jeff has very definite views on the present state of Rugby Football which makes for a great insight in to the sport. His speaking style is very entertaining with stories about many of the characters he has played alongside as well as his ideas for the future of the game. He is very capable of speaking at Rugby Dinners— from club dos to stag parties as well as corporate events.

Rory Underwood
Rory Underwood MBE is best known for his time as an international rugby player for England. During his time playing for his country, he scored a record 49 tries and won a total of 85 caps between 1984 and 1996. He also won 6 caps for the British Lions, touring Australia in 1989 and New Zealand in 1993.
Underwood played domestically at Leicester for a total of 14 years and in 1992, was was awarded an MBE for his services to rugby.
Rory played during the era before Rugby Union turned professional and balanced playing with a career as a pilot, flying in the Royal Air Force.
During in his time with the RAF Rory was responsible for introducing the successful Crew Resources Management training programme. The result of this CRM was a culture where personnel look at the importance of teamwork and decision making in time restricted and stressful situations.
Rory has both a passion and great expertise in the areas of communication and high level performance leadership in teams – gained through his rugby career and time in the RAF. This has allowed him to bring a different perspective into the performance of business teams and one in which he can provide useful insights as a guest speaker.
Rory is also a Licensed Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming an experienced facilitator as well as a psychometric profiler and performance coach.
Rick O’Shea
Rick O’Shea is a proud Welshman and comes from a proud Welsh family. His father played Rugby union for Cardiff and the Wales national team. Following his parents moving to Cornwall, Rick grew up Mousehole, near to Penzance where he started playing Rugby and playing for the Penzance & Newlyn Pirates – now known as the Cornish Pirates.
Rick represented Cornwall at all levels of the game before heading back to Wales to study at the South Glamorgan Institute – where he continued to play Rugby and earned Welsh Student caps in both Rugby Union and Rugby League, as well as British and later European Students Rugby league teams. After finishing University, Rick rejoined the Pirates where he played semi-pro until a shoulder injury forced him retire two years later in 1997.
Following retirement, Rick began commentating on Radio Cornwall as rugby correspondent.
After buying the Cameo Club with Rhodri Williams and Huw Davies, Rick met Rhodri Jones the producer of the Radio Wales show ‘Sportstime’ and following his experience on radio Cornwall, Rick became involved in commentaries for Scrum V for which he still works together with the programme ‘Fanscene’. Rick also regularly writes about Rugby for the BBC website in addition to being a face on the after dinner circuit, fund raising and corporate events.

Nigel Redman
Nigel made his England debut against Australia when he was 19,and won his 20th and final cap against Australia 13 years later
After retiring from playing Nigel was appointed National Academy Coach which is part of the main coaching body of the England team. Nigel was for several years coach of the England Under 19’s and Under 20’s He was therefore very much involved with both the senior England squad as well as future England internationals.
He has recently been appointed to the new role of Elite Coach Development Manager.

Austin Healey
Former rugby union ace Austin Healey was most recently seen in BBC 1′s Strictly Come Dancing at the end of 2008. His all-round talent and triumphs on the Rugby pitch made him a regular fixture of the sports pages, and Austin has also created headlines with his views on team mates, rugby rivals and club managers.
He played for England under 21′s in 1992, aged just 19 and was an integral member of the Leicester Tigers team that won 2 European Cups. He played in numerous positions including scrum-half, fly-half, full-back and on the wing. Austin won 51 caps for England and he toured with the Lions in 1997 and 2001.
Since retiring from playing rugby, Austin has worked as a banker as well as a pundit and commentator on rugby for the BBC and Sky TV. He is married to wife Louise and they have four girls.
Austin has written an autobiography entitled Me And My Mouth.
