Nathan Blake
Nathan joined Bolton from Sheffield United in December 1995 in a £1,200,000 deal, but unfortunately could help them avoid relegation from the Premier League. However during the next season he scored 19 league goals to help fire Wanderers back into the Premier League at the first attempt, as they went up as Champions. He then went on to score 12 league goals during the 1997/98 campaign, however this couldn’t prevent relegation after one season. Nathan started the following season on fire scoring 6 goals in the first 12 matches, which prompted a bid from local rivals Blackburn Rovers, for whom he completed a move back to the Premier League for a transfer fee of over 4 million on pounds.
